The difference between being Religious and being Christian

There is a growing chasm between Religion and Christianity, whereby Christians in America and elsewhere stray from the light and life of Christianity, while descending deeper into the darkness and death of Religion.

For example, a Pew survey of mostly white evangelical Protestants revealed that more than six in 10 believe that torture is often or sometimes justified. Whereas Christians, who really base their lives on what the New Testament promotes believe that torture can never be justified.

The religious believe that God belongs to them. Christians know that they belong to God. That’s the simple difference.

One Response to “The difference between being Religious and being Christian”

  1. True Christians don`t have to defend themselves from the whyles of Satan. As Truth would and does reveal God, Jesus Christ to Us, if Our word is Good then we have accounted for Ourselves and a good witness wzs given..The Truth becomes undeniably. God`s Presence is His Word. Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in His Name there He will be found in the midst of His children.
